The Inner West has become one of the most popular places to live, work and play in all of Sydney. Rich in history, it consists of many ‘villages’, with their own distinctive culture and demographic.

Approximately 4 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD, Newtown, Enmore, Erskineville and Camperdown are renowned for their cosmopolitan community, bustling cafes, tempting restaurants and buzzing nightlife.

Newtown is dominated by King Street, which is home to the longest and most complete Victorian shopping strip in Australia. Newtown Station is at the heart of the suburb and makes travelling to and from there a breeze.

Just around the corner is Erskineville, which enjoys a more laid back feel, while eclectic Enmore has fast become the place to discover new and exciting bars and restaurants. Camperdown is all about the university and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital that make up much of the area. It’s a quieter suburb which suits most students, yet a short walk leads you back to all the action in the surrounding suburbs.

Located a little further afield on the city fringe is Glebe. An historic suburb with its northern border on the harbour foreshore, it includes Broadway Shopping Centre which is a must see for fashion lovers, while Glebe Markets are great for picking up a bargain and a rare book. Jubilee Park is one of the best waterfront parks in the area, and Glebe Point Road has some of the best international cuisine and bars in town.

With Sydney University, UTS, excellent local schools and public transport all just a short walk away from any of these beautiful areas, the Inner West is popular with students, backpackers, young families and city professionals who enjoy the diverse culture and convenient access to so many of the attractions in and around these much loved places.

Whether you like live music, attending a theatre show, enjoying a comedy night or discovering secret bars, the possibilities of having a great time are endless.

Attracting visitors and residents throughout Sydney and from all over the world, there is never a dull moment to be had.
